Summary

31 knees with lateral pat displacement post TKR which failed to correct with lat rel and vastus med advancement.10 had RG(over)/ 18 had ETM (comps=haematoma,infection)/ 3 had med transfer of med 1/2 of pat tendon.

Critique

FU=2-16 yrs. Numbers too small in gps. No stats. TKR and rev TKR included which obviously affects tracking.

Summary

47 knees/37pats. RG=lat rel+lift lat pat tendon off tib tubercle and medialise under the tendon+plicate med retinac +advance vastus medialis. 20 degree skyline will determine patella displacement. Mild chondromalacia improved with realignment but severe not improved by drill/shave/realign hence ETM may help as advances tib tub.
