What is it?

It is inflammation of the medial epicondyle
Epidemiology
-
Less common than lateral epiconylitis (Tennis elbow).
Aetiology
-
Caused by a tear or degeneration of the flexor muscle origin at the medial epicondyle
-
Most commonly ocurs as a result of overuse of the forearm muscles
-
Can also occur as a result of a direct blow to the inner aspect of the forearm
